Job Vacancy: Donegal Local Development CLG is an integrated local development company established in 1995. We deliver a number of external funded programmes to the Donegal Community.
Donegal Local Development CLG (DLDC) are now inviting applications for the position of Employment Supports Officer – Ukrainian Refugee as part of its SICAP 2018 – 2023 Programme. This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract – subject to funding.
DLDC aims to work with people displaced from Ukraine who have come to Donegal seeking safety because of the war in Ukraine. The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate with individuals and groups. The Employment Supports Officer will be required to work as a member of an existing team to provide services to the unemployed (target area – Ukrainian Refugees), under-employed and employers in the catchment area. The individual will be primarily based in Letterkenny and will be required to provide employment support services to individuals in accommodation settings across that county (excluding Inishowen).
3 years’ experience of working in the area of employment, enterprise and/or career guidance is required.
