Collette Ferguson said: ” I am looking forward to an inspiring and motivating event and in this great space of gratitude and positivity we will prepare a launching pad for Friends of North West Simon Community. This initiative to create a region-wide network of supporters who will promote and support our model of service delivery, and join our fundraising and campaigning activities to increase awareness of homelessness in the region, is needed now more than ever. Our pleas to Government for core funding have so far fallen on deaf ears, and without our Friends of North West Simon Community essential services may soon be lost.”
North West Simon Community works to Prevent and Resolve Homelessness throughout Donegal, Leitrim and Sligo.
All proceeds on the day will go directly to support North West Simon Community Early Intervention services that aim to Stop Homelessness Before It Starts.
