The funeral for keen sports enthusiast Leona Harper will take place in Ramelton this Thursday, it has been confirmed.
Leona, aged 14, lost her life in the Creeslough explosion.
The Mulroy College student has been remembered as a friendly and quiet young girl who loved life, loved her friends and loved to spend time outdoors.
Leona was picking an ice cream in the shop for a sleepover when the fatal explosion happened.
Tributes to Leona have flown in from across the sporting world, including Letterkenny Rugby Club and her favourite football team, Liverpool FC.

The tragic death occurred, in Creeslough, of Leona Harper, 21 Mullaghban, Mountain Top, Letterkenny. Deeply regretted by her heartbroken parents Hugh and Donna. Sorely missed by brothers Anthony and Jamie and grandmother Mary Doherty. Fondly remembered by extended family members, school friends and rugby team mates.

Removal tomorrow, Tuesday, from Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny, at 4pm going to her late residence. Funeral from there at 1pm on Thursday for requiem Mass at 2pm in St. Mary’s Church, Ramelton (via Ramelton road) followed by interment in Termon graveyard (via Milford, Portlean and Kilmacrennan).
