The team at Asda Strabane have been praised for delivering a large van of groceries to Creeslough.
The kind gesture was gratefully received on Monday.
At a time of great mourning, many are aware that the community is also without its local shop.
Asda staff members brought supplies of everyday items such as condiments, toiletries, cereals and much more to the village, where they are being distributed by the Creeslough Community Day Centre.
People can visit the centre from 9am-4pm to collect items.
A notice from the Day Centre urged people to please drop in for anything they need.
“Tomorrow (Tuesday) we will be getting fridges, we will then be able to supply milk to you all also. Please don’t hesitate to come in if you need anything. It is for all the people of Creeslough, leave a donation if you want but it is not expected.”
