As part of the Centenary celebrations, Gardaí in Letterkenny will host an ‘Open Day’ at Letterkenny Garda Station next month.
The event will take place on Saturday the 8th of October between the hours of 12pm and 4pm.
A sensory hour will take place between 11am and 12pm during which time the lights and sirens will not be used.
There will be plenty of units on hand to talk through their roles, from the armed support unit, to the drugs unit to the dog unit.
Should anybody that wants to go have any requests or requirements in order to be able to safely and comfortably attend the sensory hour then please let Letterkenny Garda Station know in advance.
