Four top hotels across Donegal are celebrating earning places on an influential list of “Ireland’s 100 Best Hotels”.
The Irish Independent Weekend magazine has selected 100 extraordinary hotels to recommend for readers, from grand castles to boutique hideaways.
Harvey’s Point gained a prestigious 5th place in the Top 25 grouping. Travel Editor Pól Ó Conghaile wrote: “Other hotels have its elements – a stunning lakeside setting, huge rooms, cabaret and family-run heritage. But none tie them together with quite the aplomb of Harvey’s Point.”
Further down the list, in no particular order, are Lough Eske Castle, Arnold’s Hotel Dunfanaghy and the Sandhouse Hotel & Spa in Rossnowlagh.
Adare Manor in Co Limerick gained the overall number one spot on the list.
