Rachael Darragh finished in joint fifth place in the women’s badminton at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
The Raphoe badminton ace made it to the last eight by defeating Kobita Dookhee from Mauritius by 21-10 21-8 before beating South African Deidre Jordaan 21-13 21-5.
But her tournament came to an end today when facing second seed Michelle Li from Canada.
Rachael lost out to the world number 13 by 21-14 21-14 but finishes 5th place in the competition.
