Not even the rain could dampen spirits at the 60th Meenacross Agricultural show on Monday.
The exhibitors were up early with cattle, sheep and horses and the domestic art section was extremely busy.
Every centenary cup was kindly sponsored at Kevin Bonner’s shop in Dungloe.
Daniel and Majella O’Donnell even got in on the fun and helped out brushing cattle and tasting some lovely Pavlova.
It was also the first official function for the newly crowned Mary from Dungloe, Caitlin Finn, to present some silverware.
There were almost 100 dogs attending the dog show with an Irish wolfhound claiming Top Dog.
The committee were delighted with the day, despite the weather, and plans are already in place for the 61st show.
