The country’s summer is set to see a return soon, after days of heavy rainfall, with temperatures set to hit 23C in some areas today.
Met Éireann forecasts that there will only be two days of extended rainfall over the next 25 days as temperatures will stay mainly between 19C and 24C.
Temperatures in Donegal this Sunday will become a little warmer, as they reach to between 17C and 21C.
Met Éireann said current indications suggest that the early days of next week are set to be mostly dry with more in the way of sunshine and temperatures widely in the high teens to low 20s with light winds.
