The newly developed Newtowncunningham Primary Care Centre has opened its doors today.
The new facility brings local health care services together in a single point of access for patients.
The value of the construction works was approx €2.3million ex VAT.
Cathaoirleach of Inishowen Cllr Paul Canning has welcomed today’s opening and said: “At this time I would like to thank everyone involved in the development of this centre, I would also like to thank all the staff within the centre that provide us with such a fantastic service.
“I would like to thank all of the surrounding neighbours that have shown patience with the inconvenience during construction of the new centre.”
Cllr Canning said the new practice is to be named “Castle Medical Centre” and the new phone number is 074 98 98560.
