A major Alzheimers Fundraiser returns to Killygordon this weekend with proceeds going towards the Alzheimer Society of Ireland (ASI).
The event is being organised by local man John Devine, whose mother Elizabeth sadly passed in 2020.
Around 2,450 people in Donegal and 64,000 in Ireland live with dementia, a figure that is expected to more than double in the next 25 years to over 150,000.
The festival, which is called ‘a Weekend not to Forget’, will run on the 30th and 31st of July in Browne’s car park, Cross Roads, Killygordon.
The event will feature music from the Bedrockers, UpBeat Music Tuition & DJ Vinny, Eddie McKelvey, Danny Carlin and many more.
Tickets are €10 and Sunday is free for all under-16s.
Contact John Devine on 087 792 3464 or memoryweekend19@gmail.com to book your ticket.
