You’d be forgiven for thinking that John McGinley Coach Travel has a new crew member after a Coronation Street star was spotted behind the wheel in Manchester this week!
Mickey North, who plays Gary Windass in the popular ITV soap, has become the latest celebrity to hop onboard a McGinley bus.
The Corrie ‘bad boy’ was anything but villainous when he met fans during a soaps tour. Mickey was happy to meet fans and pose for photos, even pretending to take over Sean Ferry’s role as driver!
McGinley Coach Travel were delighted to have the celebrity guest and posted on Facebook: “If you’re a Corrie fan then I’m sure you wouldn’t mind being a passenger today as Coronation Street bad boy Gary Windass (Mikey North) takes the wheel.
“You just never know who you could find behind the wheel of a McGinley Coach these days.”
Manchester may seem like a long way from home for a McGinley bus, but the visit was part of a luxury coach tour with Irish company Celtic Horizon Tours, offering guests return trips via bus and ferry from Letterkenny to the home of the iconic Corrie cobbles and to original Emmerdale locations in West Yorkshire.
