Declan Bonner will address the media tomorrow night after the county meeting tomorrow night.
There has been much speculation about Bonner staying on as manager, in which he still has a year remaining on his contract, following Donegal’s loss to Armagh in the All-Ireland SFC second round qualifier.
Bonner has not spoken to the media since before that game at Clones in which Armagh won 3-17 to 0-16.
A Donegal spokesperson said: “There will be a County Committee meeting at the Donegal GAA Centre in Convoy at 8pm on Wednesday evening, July 20th. The manager of the County Senior Squad Declan Bonner is scheduled to give his annual report for 2022 at the meeting.
“There has been unprecedented media speculation since Donegal’s championship exit and Declan will hold a press conference, in a separate room, after he has spoken to County Committee.”
Bonner took over in 2017 and led Donegal to back-to-back Ulster titles in 2018 and 2019.
The Tír Chonaill men have however not won the Ulster title in three years now, with Bonner’s side losing in the final twice
