Plans are being lodged with Donegal County Council for the construction of 90 new housing units in Letterkenny.
The major development has been proposed at Glencar Irish and Glencar Scotch by developer P.J. McDermott.
Phase 1 of the development includes 82 dwellings and two apartment blocks containing eight apartments. A creche has also been proposed in the application.
The associated site works will include a new vehicular entrance, landscaped open spaces and planted boundary buffers, connection to public services to include associated storm attenuation and re-routing of existing water mains at Glencar Irish and Glencar Scotch.
A public notice from Mr McDermott says the planning application may be inspected or purchased at a fee from the Planning Authority. Submissions or observations in relation to the application may be made to the Authority in writing within the period of five weeks from the date of the receipt by the Authority of the application.
