A young man was rushed to hospital following a hit and run in Carndonagh at the weekend.
Gardaí confirmed to Donegal Daily they are investigating the collision which occurred on the Moville Road in the early hours of Sunday morning.
“The collision occurred between a pedestrian and a car at approximately 3.40am. The car left the scene and headed in the Carndonagh direction,” a spokesperson for the Garda Press Office said.
“The pedestrian, a man aged in his 20s, was later taken to Letterkenny Hospital for treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.”
