Gardaí say their investigation is ‘ongoing’ into a crash in west Donegal in May in which seven people were injured.
Two people were seriously injured following the two car collision at Glassagh, Derrybeg at around 10pm on May 17th last.
The collision occurred between a silver Ford Focus and a black VW Golf.
In total, four males and three females were injured.
One of them, a young female teacher from Dublin, was later transferred to Beaumont Hospital due to the seriousness of her injuries.
When contacted by Donegal Daily, a spokesperson for the Garda Press Office would neither confirm nor deny reports that a third vehicle may have been involved.
In addition, they would not comment on whether or not any arrests have been made.
“Investigations are ongoing,” the spokesperson said.
“Gardaí attended at the Glassagh, Derrbeg, Co Donegal, shortly after 10pm on Tuesday, 17 May 2022 following reports of a two car collision,” the spokesperson added.
“The occupants of both cars, four males and three females, were taken from the scene to Letterkenny University Hospital for medical assessment. There are no reports of any life threatening injuries.”
