The sun is on its way to Donegal this weekend as temperatures are set to rise to the mid 20s, according to Met Éireann.
However, the disappointing news is that Donegal may not get as much sunshine as the rest of the country.
Despite some light drizzle at times, it will be most dry and the temperatures will continue to rise.
Saturday will see brighter spells of sunshine developing, with highest temperatures of 16 to 19 degrees with light north to northwest breezes.
Sunday will be warm and largely dry with sunny spells, after some early morning mist or drizzle. Highest temperatures of 20 to 25 degrees, with light variable breezes.
Monday is set to be warm and dry with good spells of sunshine and highest temperatures of 21 to 26 or 27 degrees and mostly light southerly breezes.
