Donegal County Council has appointed North West Alarms Systems Ltd. to draw up a detailed design of the CCTV scheme for Ballybofey and Stranorlar.
Work on the new design has been completed, which will allow the principal applicant to proceed to public consultation.
Copies of the proposed camera locations and associated maps for the new system are available to be viewed at the BASE Enterprise Centre until Thursday the 14th of July.
Sean Flanagan, Technician CCTV, Donegal County Council, will meet with members of the public on the 14th of July at the BASE Enterprise Centre for an open public consultation to respond to any queries relating to the CCTV cameras.
Once the public consultation is complete, the application will be brought before the Donegal Joint Policing Committee for approval.
