Martin Cunningham was the first athlete home in the Donegal Town Summer Festival 10k yesterday.
The Tír Chonaill man finished in a time of 33:25, over a minute clear of the rest of the field.
Teresa Doherty was second overall and the fastest woman home, with a time of 34:48 for the Finn Valley AC athlete.
Leroy Graham of St. Coca’s was the second fastest male home, in 35:18, while Martin Lynch of Milford AC was next in 35:38.
Ciara Cunningham was 14th overall but the second woman home after Doherty’s impressive run, finishing in 40:37, while Enya Kratihaus was next in 45:40.
