Concert with the Greats
Eamonn Gillespie once again will be opening up the garden of Teresa’s Cottage in Bruckless for a great night of entertainment.
A ‘Concert with the Greats’ on Sunday, 17th July will feature, among others, Ireland’s Queen of Country, Philomena Begley and renowned tenor, Eugene Ginty.
“At this stage, we’ve a couple of weeks to go, but I’m just hoping the garden will be looking well and the flowers will be in bloom because it promises to be a wonderful event,” Eamonn said.
The event, which hasn’t happened since pre-covid, will begin with a drinks reception from 3pm and then the concert itself is at 4pm.
There is a special raffle to raise funds for the local St Joseph and Conal Church.
Tickets are priced at €45 and are available from Bruckless Post Office on 074 973 7009. It’s selling out fast!
Beach Cleans
Come and join us for future beach cleans in the area. Our next one will be on 16th July 2022 at Riggy Haugh, St. John’s Point. 1 to 2pm.
We suggest you bring a snack and sensible shoes.

Dunkineely Community Ltd AGM
The Dunkineely Community Ltd Annual General Meeting will take place on Wednesday 13th July at 7:30pm.
This year it will take place in the back room of MacLaughlin’s. A big thank you to them for allowing us to use the room.
These are exciting times for DCL, with funding for conservation surveys on two of our most famous local heritage sites, and big plans for our 10th Anniversary.
If you want to come along and see what we are doing, and have a say on our future plans, all are welcome.
Church Services
Methodist Church: Normal Sunday Services will be held at 10:30am in Ardara and 12 noon in Dunkineely.
Catholic Church: Mass will be held at the normal times. Mass can also be viewed on the “Bruckless Church – St Joseph and St Conal” Facebook page.
Eucharistic Adoration is on Friday from 11am to 3pm, and on Sunday from 3pm to 4pm.
Confession can be heard before weekend Masses or arrange a time by contacting Fr Brady at the Parochial House (074 973 7015).
Church of Ireland: Normal services will be held on Sunday. Services will also continue online for the foreseeable future.

Monthly Meeting: Thanks to all who attended the July monthly meeting. The next monthly meeting is scheduled for Friday, 2nd September at 8pm, upstairs in the clubhouse. All members are welcome to attend!
