A young mother left in a wheelchair after a fatal Donegal crash that left two of her friends dead says she “just wished that night never happened”.
Rachel Elliott, 28, from Ballinamallard, Co Fermanagh, was left with life-changing injuries after being thrown out of the back window of a car involved in the horrific crash in Bundoran in 2018.
Young mum Shiva Devine, 20, and Conall Mcaleer, 20 were killed instantly.
Taking to Tiktok after this week’s inquest into the crash deaths, Rachel said: “It’s time to try and put that night behind us. I will never, ever know how that happened. I just wish that night never happened and I wish we never went out.”
The car involved in the horrific road crash was travelling at a speed of 121kph, the inquest heard.
