A south west Donegal councillor has issued an appeal for long-term housing for people in the area.
Independent representative, Cllr Niamh Kennedy, said many people have been in contact looking for a place to live in the holiday home hotspot.
There are also a large number of vacant/derelict properties in the area.
“From Glencolmcille through to Dunkineely, if anyone has accommodation to rent, including a room to rent in the Glencolmcille area, please get in touch,” she said.
“We have a housing crisis for sure. I have a number of families and single people looking to rent in this area. If you have a property, would you please consider renting.”
Cllr Kennedy can be contacted via her Facebook page.
