Gardaí are investigating the theft of five community benches from Convoy.
Five benches (pictured above) were stolen from various locations on the outskirts of the village between those dates between the 5th of June and the 13th of June.
Gardai say a lot of hard work and fundraising goes into accessing and maintaining amenities in any town.
And they added that incidents such as these are a huge disappointment to everybody who works so hard to make their community a better place to live in.
A spokesperson for Castlefin Gardai said “We are eager to progress our investigation into these thefts and we ask anybody who has any information in relation to the theft of the benches or in relation to the current location of them to contact Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100 or the Garda Confidential line on 1800 666 111.”
