Breda continued: “The Central is so historically and fondly regarded as one of the North Wests finest, I felt it important to showcase that classy reputation.
“As it is a vantage point from every corner of the Diamond, it was imperative to provoke the beauty of its location in keeping with the beauty of historic Donegal Town. I had huge support during every stage of its progression from all local trades making the final appearance so rewarding. My team, who are the best in Ireland demonstrated such loyalty towards the end goal, I am continuously very grateful to them and very proud of them.
“The local community offered such encouraging support and the positive feedback is really humbling.
Breda adds: “Having taken on the role of General Manager, four years ago, I allowed myself a five-year plan towards the business development, it is getting there even with the covid interruptions and I am truly grateful to my Directors for their investment in the hotel and trust in me.”
“Next, it’s ‘Project Ballroom Dance Floor’ where we are replacing our existing dancefloor with a newly appointed state-of-the-art maple floor. Again the local businesses and craftspeople are assisting in making this a most beautiful dance space in our Grand Ballroom with a view overlooking Donegal Bay on the Wild Atlantic Way.
“I am looking forward to welcoming our local community and loyal guests to enjoy the upgrades in the months ahead.”
