Callum Devine is now 15.9 seconds clear in the Donegal International Rally as Matt Edwards is beginning to put the pressure back on.
The Welshman Edwards took a spin on the first time around Knockalla on stage nine and was left 27 seconds behind, giving Devine a comfortable lead.
But Edwards has been pushing hard and is closing in on the Derry man, chipping away at his lead which has been nearly halved over the last three stages with the three time British champion in flying form.
Alastair Fisher is in third with just a tenth of a second lead over Josh Moffett, while his brother Sam Moffett, the 2019 winner of the rally, chases Meirion Evans for fifth place and a gap of 2.5 seconds separates them.
Donegal man Declan Boyle sits in 7th and Kevin Gallagher leads the modified class 14 in his Darrian T90 GTR by 33 seconds to James Stafford.
Carnhill and Fanad Head are the only two stages left for the day, with the Fanad Head stage being significantly reduced due to a lack of marshals.
