Almost €300k on funding has been confirmed for four Donegal projects under the Sports Capital & Equipment Programme Appeals.
The grants go to Cappry Rovers, Donegal Town Soccer Club Trust Company Ltd, Illies Golden Glove Co. Ltd and Naomh Ultan CLG.
Minister Charlie McConalogue welcomed the allocation of €292,609.53 in sports capital and equipment funding for the four clubs and projects.
Commenting on the announcement Minister McConalogue said “This funding announcement today for Cappry Rovers, Donegal Town Soccer Club Trust Company Ltd, Illies Golden Glove Co. Ltd and Naomh Ultan CLG is good news for these communities and will help improve the facilities and offerings of these clubs.
“This funding, and the record funding announced for clubs and societies throughout Donegal in March this year, is testament to the success of sports in our County and the hard-work of all the staff, volunteers and participants of the clubs.”
