Tyler Toland’s Celtic side made history by winning their first ever Scottish Cup yesterday, completing a cup double.
The St Johnston woman was an unused sub in the final, which went to extra-time.
The 3-2 win over Glasgow City was dramatic and full of twists at Tynecastle Stadium in Edinburgh.
Shen Mengyu gave Celtic the lead after 19 minutes but they only held on to the lead for five minutes as Jenna Clark equalised for the holders.
Celtic would retake the lead as Charlie Wellings scored her 40th goal of the season with a 36th minute penalty, but three minutes later, they suffered a setback.
Jodie Bartle was given a straight red for a foul, to the shock of the Celtic players, and Glasgow City were awarded a penalty.
Lauren Davidson converted the kick and the sides would go in level at half-time.
Following no goals in the second half, the game went to extra-time where Izzy Atkinson’s 113th minute gave Fran Alonso’s side the lead again and this time, they weren’t relinquishing it.
Toland started in the semi-final against Hearts and yesterday picked up her second winners medal of her debut season in Glasgow.
