Cumann Gailf Chloich Cheann Fhaola will celebrate 25 years officially open this week with events on at the club.
The ground on which the golf club is situated was overgrown until in May 1994 the local community set about developing a golf course on the land from Údarás na Gaeltachta.
Most of the work on the development of the new course was done on a voluntary basis by people who had never played golf.
Michael Doherty, golf professional and designer from Derry, designed the new 9 hole parkland course.
