A local councillor is calling for a footpath to connect two popular north Donegal tourist hotspots.
Cllr Micheal Cholm MacGiolla Easbuig says the footwalk is badly needed along the busy road between Dunfanaghy and Portnablagh.
The Independent representative says he has already contacted Donegal County Council about the matter.
“We need a safe and proper walk out to Portnablagh from Dunfanaghy,” he said.
“This is really important as there is a huge footfall along this stretch of road, especially during the summer months.
“This is also a very fast stretch of road.”
