Donegal Minors show metal to reach Ulster Semi-Final

Donegal’s Minors came from behind to defeat brave Monaghan in Clones this afternoon and now progress to an Ulster semi final against Tyrone.

Donegal 4-12 (24)

Monaghan 3-07 (16)

The visitors led comfortably at the break with a commanding 4-06 t 1-03 lead.

However, it certainly wasn’t all one-way traffic.

The Farney boys fought back and, 18 minutes into the second half, there was just a goal between the two sides.

Donegal rallied again, however, and showed great character to run out winners on a final scoreline of 4-12 to 3-07.
