Job Vacancy: The Glen Stone Company Ltd. in Killybegs is recruiting for a full-time Accounts and Office Administrator.
THE COMPANY
The Glen Stone Company Ltd. is a quarry located just outside Killybegs, producing aggregates and ready mix concrete for the construction industry.
Glen Stone is seeking a full-time (Mon – Fri) Accounts and Office Administrator to join its Team.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting directly to the Directors, the successful candidate will be responsible for the daily running of the office, accounts processing and other general office duties.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparing and managing debtor and creditor accounts. Manage all sales and purchases invoices, bank receipts and payments and nominal journals.
- Managing customer orders, payments and enquiries.
- Processing of weekly payroll.
- Preparation and completion of month end bank reconciliations and VAT returns.
- Other general office duties and administration.
THE PERSON
- At least 2-3 years accounts experience or 1 year post Account Technician qualified.
- Proven experience in taking ownership of tasks, through to completion, is a distinct advantage.
- Strengths in organisation and attention-to-detail are essential.
- Excellent skills in MS Excel; ideally also experienced in a accounting software package.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
