Talented young pianists win trophies at Derry Feis

Three students of a Letterkenny piano school are celebrating their success at the 100th annual Derry Feis.

Fionn Halligan from Kilmacrennan, Benjamin du Plessis from Milford and Eliana Campbell from Speenoge, Burt, proudly represented the Anne Kerr Piano School at the historic event.

The students each took home well-earned trophies.

The iconic Feis Dhoire Cholmcille or Derry Feis celebrated its 100th birthday on Easter week at the Millennium Forum.

Eliana Campbell from Speenoge, Burt, winner of the James McCafferty Cup and Bursary (piano) at the recent Derry Feis in the Millennium Forum. Eliana is a student of Anne Kerr Piano School, Fernhill, Letterkenny.

Fionn Halligan, son of Joyce Halligan and Peter Halligan from Killmacrennan

Benjamin du Plessis, son of Rina du Plessis and Ben du Plessis. Benjamin won the “Betty Meenan Cup” at the Derry Feis.
