An established betting shop in Ballybofey requires an experienced assistant.
The overall purpose of the position is to assist the manager at the Betting Lounge in the efficient running of the shop at all times while maintaining excellent levels of customer service.
Main duties & responsibilities:
* Acceptance of bets and payments in accordance with company procedures
* Efficient use of screens and keypads to provide accurate information to customers
* Responsible for the accuracy of EPOS
* Ensuring the shop is safe, clean and tidy at all times to create a welcoming environment for customers
*Develop excellent customer relations
Essential Criteria:
* 18 years or over
* Minimum of one year’s cash handling and customer service experience
* Retail betting assistant experience is desirable
* Interest in sport
* Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
* A team player
* Computer Literate
* Strong numerical skills
* Flexible approach to working hours and conditions, must be available to work over 7 days per week
* Ability to travel within allocated district
