Four Donegal players were named in the GAA.ie Football Team of the Week after beating Armagh 1-16 to 0-12.
Shaun Patton, Brendan McCole, Michael Langan and Michael Murphy were all named in the XV, with Donegal being the most heavily featured team.
Michael Langan returned to the starting team for Donegal after he got injured midway through the league campaign.
The St. Michael’s man had been enjoying a successful campaign before his injury, being named in the Team of the Week twice.
Langan returned to form yesterday as he kicked three points from play in the seven point victory.
Murphy lead by example for Donegal, scoring six points, four from frees.
Shaun Patton and Brendan McCole were crucial to Donegal keeping a clean sheet and keeping the Armagh scoring down.
Patton also made a brilliant stop with his feet from Aidan Nugent as Armagh looked to level the game just after half-time.
