Local company targets private equity as it raises €50m for plant

A company which is majority-owned by Killybegs fishermen, has begun the process of raising €50m in institutional funding for a major expansion of facilities in Donegal.

Bio-Marine Ingredients produces soluble and insoluble proteins and marine minerals and has moved into the area of nutraceuticals and infant health.
