Letterkenny Rugby coach Paul O’Kane is looking to add silverware in his first season in charge of the side this weekend with the Gordon West Cup final.
Letterkenny take on Monaghan Rugby Club at the Kingspan Stadium in their first final of the competition for 11 years.
The two clubs also clash in the semi-final of the league the following weekend as they are both fighting on two fronts.
Both sides have beaten each other this season and O’Kane understands the task at hand for his side.
O’Kane said: “Everyone is in sport to win, anyone that says otherwise is a liar.
To get the day out to be able to go up to Ravenhill, I’ve been on both sides of the coin up there, I’ve been a winner and an unfortunate loser as well, being beat by a last kick of the game so I can definitely tell you which side I’d rather be on.
“It’s going to be a hell of a contest to be honest.”
