Ollie Horgan is hoping that Bohemians aren’t at their best tomorrow night when Finn Harps come to town.
Horgan believes that Bohemians are able to beat anyone in the league when they are on form and hopes that isn’t the case come kick-off time.
Harps travel to Dalymount Park off the back of a defeat to Derry City last Saturday and Horgan believes it doesn’t get any easier for his side.
Bohs were without a win since the second game of the season, drawing three and losing two, before defeating Sligo Rovers 1-0 last week, they then conceded a late goal away to Drogheda in a 1-1 draw.
Horgan believes that Bohemians are able to beat anyone in the league when they are on form and hopes that isn’t the case come kick-off time.
Horgan said:”You’re trying to get a result regardless of what your previous result was but Bohemians is a very difficult place to go to away from home, we got a hammering there this time last year.
“While they started slowly (this year), they’ve kicked on and we watched them against Sligo and they were back at it where they were last year.
Harps and Bohs have enjoyed plenty of battles between each other in recent years with both sides winning both at Finn Park and Dalymount last season, while the two sides drew 1-1 at the start of the season.
Promise Omochere opened the scoring as the visitors took the lead but Ryan Connolly equalised in a fiery game that had 8 yellow cards and one red card, for goalscorer Omochere.
Horgan added: “We’ve had a few draws, we’ve had a few narrow wins, but when they’re good, they’ll beat anyone in the league, including the top two, Derry and Shamrock Rovers.
“We’re hoping they won’t be at their peak although they looked like they were flying in Sligo.
“They have some serious footballers and they play a lovely system with play that’s attractive on the eye as well as very productive.
“We need a lot of things going for us up there, we’ve had a lot of bad days up there.”
Kick-off at Dalymount Park is at 7.45pm and is available to be streamed on loitv.ie
