Mickey McCann knows the importance of the Nicky Rackard Cup, and despite his side already achieving their league goals, all focus is on Saturdays semi-final.
Donegal face Sligo in the semi-final, who they already faced and defeated earlier in the competition1-19 to 2-14 at Markievicz Park.
“The target at the start was maintain our status, we’d a lot of injuries but we’ve a bit of strength and depth and we’re in a good place but we’ll not be risking any of the boys, we’ll put our faith in the younger boys again and sticking with them.
“We’re in bonus territory but at the same time whatever 15 takes the field we’ll be expecting a performance to try get over Sligo and get us in a league final.”
McCann is just hoping to pick up no more injuries before the start of the Nicky Rackard Cup.
“Sligo is the focus this week but deep down we’ll be talking about trying to get this Nicky Rackard Cup again.”
