There was a massive turnout for a Charity Tractor and Classic Car Run in Churchill on Sunday.
Two hundred vehicles – 140 tractors and 60 cars – made for an impressive sight across the roads around Muckish.
The scenic run was in aid of three charities connected with this year’s North West 10K – Donegal Diabetes Parents Support Group, The No Barriers Foundation, Donegal Branch of Spinda Bifida & Hydrocephalus.
More than €4,000 was raised, which will be divided between the three groups.
Jonny Stewart, one of the main organisers, thanked everyone for their support from near and far – the volunteers, the marshalls, Wilkins Bar, Highland Bakery for sponsoring the soup and rolls, Kevin Robinson Glenalla Photography and many many more who made the day the success it was.
The 25th North West 10k takes place on Monday 2nd of May in Letterkenny at 11 a.m. The online entry fee is €15. There is a commemorative t-shirt for all who enter before the 31st of March. To enter online click on this link https://www.njuko.net/nw_10k_2022
