Planning permission has been granted for a new community cafe on the edge of Letterkenny Town Park.

The voluntary Cairde le Cheile committee has been given the green light for the development at the back of old St Conal’s Chapel.

The building will consist of tea rooms and an outdoor social area with views of the park, including a sensory room, sensory garden, multi purpose changing room and public toilets.
