Ryan Griffin finished 7th at the R&A Student Tour Series in Spain after the 3 day tournament ended yesterday.
The Ballybofey & Stranorlar Golf Club player shot 1 over on the first two days and finished with level par as he ended the tournament 2 over, 6 strokes behind the winner, Irishman Eoin Sullivan.
Griffin, who represents NUI Maynooth, was second on the Order of Merit before the tournament in Spain after he came joint first in Portugal with fellow Maynooth student Jordan Boles.
