Three brave members of the Bundoran RNLI Lifeboat crew yesterday completed a ten mile sponsored road walk in their full kit!
Yes, that’s the entire lifeboat gear consisting of a dry suit, life jacket and helmet.
Crew members Chris Fox, Brian Fowley and Paul Gallagher completed the gruelling ‘Bundoran 10’ challenge in aid of their RNLI branch.
They did it in an impressive time of 3hrs 4mins.
They also received the “Extra Mile for Grace” award in memory of Grace Gilliland presented to them by Grace’s mother Olga.
The guys have already raised almost €5,600, surpassing their initial €3,500 goal.
