Ballybofey has highest commercial vacancy rate in Ireland – survey

Ballybofey again has the highest commercial vacancy rate in the country, according to the latest GeoDirectory survey.

Their report states the east Donegal town has the highest number of empty commercial properties at 30%, while Buncrana had the lowest rate in the county at 13.1%.

Overall, the commercial vacancy rate in Donegal has increased.

The number of vacant commercial properties in Donegal has increased to 16.9% in the last quarter of 2021, above the national average of 13.9%.
