Following the success of their recent recruitment drive, The Silver Tassie in Letterkenny are now ready to move to the next stage. They are currently looking to employ Part-Time Function, Bar & Reception Staff for weekend work.
Joe Mc Garvey, a very popular & valued member of the Tassie team has been working part-time as a senior bar person since March 2014. After many years in the Defence Forces and a short-lived retirement spell! Joe was ready to take on a new direction & get back out into the working world for a few days a week.
Joe had this to say about his job in the Tassie: “I really enjoy the job & although it was a big change for me in the beginning, I was ready for the challenge and I’m very happy I decided to take it on. I work 2 days a week and the flexible hours suit me & my lifestyle perfectly. I’ve met so many people, made many new friends & learnt a lot since taking on this job. The social side of my work is great and very important to me but it’s also nice to have that bit of income coming in during my retirement. I would recommend it to anyone in a similar situation as myself, so don’t hesitate, go for it”.
