Excitement is building for the LYIT Agricultural Science Society Charity Ball on the 4th March in the Silver Tassie Hotel with all proceeds in aid of the Alzheimer Society of Ireland.
Non-students and any members of the public are welcome to come and enjoy a night of great entertainment in support of the cause.
The evening starts off with a champagne reception, followed by a 4 course meal and music by One for the Road followed by DJ Tubsy to late.
There is also a mega raffle taking place on the night for many different prizes kindly donated by local businesses, including first prize of a 8’2 x 4’2 general purpose trailer worth €2,500 kindly sponsored by main event sponsors Hugh and Liam McQuaid from Tuffmac trailers and trailer parts and spares. Raffle tickets are available to purchase on the night of the event or by contacting the LYIT Agricultural Society from next week.

The event is being organised third year agricultural science students at LYIT – Jason Mc Laughlin, Holly Simms and Jade McFarland.
Ball Tickets are priced €40 and are now available to LYIT students to purchase in the main foyer of the college every Monday from 12.30 to 1.30. For non students, tickets can be purchased from the Silver Tassie reception or by contacting LYIT Agricultural Science Society on Instagram or Facebook.
