Rob Slevin said that once he got the call from Ollie Horgan, it was ‘a no brainer’ to join the Donegal side.
Slevin spoke ahead of the new season beginning as Finn Harps kick off their league campaign on the 18th of February against Drogheda United.
The 23-year-old joins after last being with Cork City, as injuries hampered his playing time with the Munster side.
Rob said: “I had a tough year last year but the operations out of the way and the rehab went perfectly soI’m ready to build on that now and have a good season.”
The young defender will look to nail down a starting spot in Ollie Horgan’s defence and is relishing the chance to play in the Premier Division.
He added: “Once I got the chance I nearly snapped Ollies hand off, I met him and I signed there on the spot.
“It was a no brainer really.”
