Another 12,138 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in the Republic today.
There are 6,843 PCR-confirmed cases 5,295 positive antigen tests registered through the HSE portal.
NPHET has also reported 52 deaths notified in the past week (since last Wednesday).
As of 8am today, 910 COVID-19 patients are hospitalised, of whom 90 are in ICU. As of 8pm yesterday, Letterkenny University Hospital is treating 45 patients with Covid-19, including two in ICU.
