Dylan Browne McMonagle added a second trophy to his incredible 2021 season at the Horse Racing Ireland Awards on Wednesday.
The Letterkenny man was named the winner of the Emerging Talent award in a very competitive shortlist featuring Cheltenham race winner Jordan Gainford.
Browne McMonagle won a total of 55 races in 2021, including a group 3 on Baron Samedi, who he credits some of his success to, and a listed race on Mighty Blue, beating group 1 Longchamp winner Princess Zoe.
This adds to his success of winning the Apprentice Jockey Championship crown for 2021.
Colin Keane won the Flat award, with Rachael Blackmore winning the Irish racing hero award.
