More than 20 valuable catalytic converters for cars have been stolen during a robbery in Raphoe.
The burglary occurred between 6pm on Wednesday the 8th and 7.45am on Thursday the 9th of December at Cooladerry, Raphoe.
Raiders entered the premises after smashing through a window of a shed.
A sum of money was also taken in the raid.
There has been a 115% increase in the theft of catalytic converters from cars across Ireland since the start of the year.
Very often individual converters cannot be traced back to the car they were stolen from as they have no serial numbers.
