Sadness following passing of solicitor Helen Salmon

There is widespread sadness across Donegal following the death of well-known solicitor Helen Salmon.

Ms Salmon was a native of Ballinasloe in Co Galway but had lived in Letterkenny for many years.

She passed away on Friday last at her home after a long illness so bravely borne.

Predeceased by her beloved father Tom and brother Paul, sadly missed by her loving son Eoin and his partner Divya, mother Peggy, brothers Gerard and his wife Eva and Dermot, sister Orla and her husband Dermot, nephews Andrew and Darragh, niece Ella, relatives, neighbours and so many wonderful friends.

Tributes were paid at Letterkenny District Court today to Ms Salmon who worked for the Legal Aid Board.

Helen will repose at the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top Letterkenny (F92 XE35) from 4pm to 5.30pm on Tuesday 14th December, family, neighbours and friends welcome.

Removal from there to St. Eunan’s Cathedral Letterkenny, to be received there at 6pm, reposing overnight for 11am Requiem Mass on Wednesday, 15th December, which can be viewed online by using this link https://www.churchservices.tv/letterkenny followed by removal to Grenham’s Funeral Home, St. Michael’s Square, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway, reposing there from 6pm to 7pm on Thursday, 16th December.
